Jennifer Gutman Tyne, of Orono, Maine, age 52, died on 9/18/22, after a 6 year battle with breast cancer. She was a member and dedicated volunteer of CISV Maine for over 12 years, along with her husband Andy and their 3 children, Patrick, Eleanor and Maureen. She was a strong supporter of CISV and its principles, values, and mission. She encouraged and supported her children’s participation in many summer CISV programs and in the Junior Branch. Jen was always helping out at the chapter events, preparing for her children’s travelling delegations, and was the organizer of the chapter volunteer hours, which involved a very extensive spreadsheet with ongoing updating. She also was an energetic, fun, thoughtful, loving, smart (UMaine math professor), conscientious, kind person who is deeply missed by all. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Tyne Family. She was honored at the CISV in Motion National conference in Pittsburgh, in October, 2022. Here is link to her obituary
