Application Guidelines
1. Become a member of CISV Maine (youth delegates only):
You must become a (family) member of CISV Maine in order to apply to be a youth delegate. Scholarships are available for membership–goto membership page for details. Program leaders–if you are chosen, CISV Maine will cover your membership fee.
2. Complete an Information Form

3. Download the application:
Download the correct application materials for the program you are interested in. Double-check age requirements. There is some flexibility with age for programs of 15yr olds and under, so please email us to ask for accommodation. Please read the cover letter FIRST. It has dates, location, application fee info, program cost and important info. To fill out the application you can print the material out to write in responses or copy/download the documents and type in your answers – please email Morgan if you need help.

5. Attend Selection Day–Required
Selection Day includes a full day of activities, interviews, and programming: Sunday February 5th 9-430pm (approximately), at Old Town-Orono YMCA. Mandatory parent meeting: 330-430pm Selection day snow date: 2/4/23
Leadership Training Requirements
* All Junior Counselors and Adult Leaders attend Selection day and both Local and National Leadership Training and Maine Mini Camp.
** Seminar Camp participants must attend Local Leadership Training and complete online National Leadership Training (via Skype) and attend Maine Mini camp (strongly encouraged).
*** Fortnight participants must attend Local Leadership Training and are NOT required to attend National Leadership Training, attending Maine Mini camp is strongly encouraged.
Local Leader/JC/Fortnight/Seminar Training: Saturday March 11th, 830-430pm, Doris Twitchell Allen Village, UMaine, Orono
National Leader, JC, and Staff training: May 13th, 2023 9am-7pm in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.
NE Regional Mini Camp: March 31-April 2 Prindle Pond Conference Center, Charlton, MA
Maine Mini Camp: April 21-23, 2023 at Camp Jordan in Ellsworth, ME.
