It was wonderful to press cider, carve pumpkins and meet all 50+ of you at the 10/24/21 Fall Fest, at the Orono Public Library! I hope you enjoyed yourself as well as got to know a little about CISV (formerly known as Children’s International Summer Villages), if it is new to you. A BIG thank you to Country Pumpkins in Corinth for donating over 20 pumpkins, Sullivan’s Orchards in Charleston for donating hundreds of apples and Hannafords for donating paper goods, donuts and snacks!
- CISV’s mission is to “educate and inspire action for a more just and peaceful world.” We do this through local, national and international programming. We would love for YOU and your family to be involved–or to increase your involvement! Please read the material I gave you and check out our website maine.cisvusa.org
- I will put you on our email list so you will know upcoming events. If you cant attend, but are interested in learning more or participating/volunteering with us, please email me! We send emails through mailchimp, so check your spam folder. You can opt out of the list at anytime. Our Junior Branch teens run monthly activities for ages 5-21–check out our website, FB page , Instagram or Tiktok for the latest info.
I appreciate everyone wearing masks and filling out the covid forms–please contact me if anyone in your party tests positive for covid in the next 10 days–so I can alert all.
We wont be able to keep doing our youth leadership and peace education programming without getting new people involved! So we hope to hear from you and/or see you again soon!
